BROKEN explores Black British women’s sexual politics in a world of virtual love and minimum commitment.

Set in a luxurious hair salon on the morning of Samantha’s wedding, an idealistic young man and five passionate women tell their touching, painful and all-too-familiar stories of broken trust, broken hope and broken dreams—stories that unfold in scattered, embittered shards around them.
